Senior who has battled injury for most of his career . . . fits the bill for everything one would ask for in a player, including size, strength, desire, character and work ethic . . . will add more firepower on offense if he can stay healthy.

2001: Missed the season due to a foot injury that required surgery.

2000: Saw action in seven games . . . rushed 15 times for 79 yards and a touchdown as a backup to veteran fullback Kadell Wright . . . his best game came against Gardner-Webb, breaking a 21-yard run and rushing for 39 yards total and a touchdown . . . was limited by a nagging neck injury the first four games of the season.

1999: Appeared in nine games and carried 14 times for 90 yards . . . longest run was for 22 yards against Austin Peay . . . carried the ball a season-high six times for 28 yards and scored once against Chattanooga . . . rushed for a season-high 37 yards against Austin Peay.

1998 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: Named the Jasper (Miss.) County Player of the Year as a senior . . . a three-time District 5-1A selection at fullback at Stringer High School . . . rushed for 936 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior . . . named the team’s Most Valuable Player and was a Mississippi All-Star nominee . . . helped lead SHS to the 1996 state baseball championship.
