Probably the most versatile player on the team...after serving as the backup quarterback to Josh Kellett last season, will now move to the defensive side of the ball and is listed as the No. 2 left cornerback...the identical twin brother of Bulldog defensive back Michael Williams.

1999 (Junior): Missed seven games after suffering a broken thumb in his first series of the season-opener against Chattanooga...was 2-for-5 passing the football for the year with his longest completion being a 19-yard pass against Chattanooga...ran the ball effectively, recording 58 yards on nine carries...his longest run, 26 yards, came in his only start of the season against Western Carolina...spent the remaining two games at halfback, but did not see action.

1998 (Sophomore): Played at wide receiver, appearing in all 11 games...caught four passes for 44 yards on the season...had a 16-yard reception against Tennessee-Martin and a 20-yard catch at Jacksonville State...returned one kick 17 yards in the season-finale at Tennessee Tech.

1997 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action in 11 games...caught one pass for 23 yards against Austin Peay.

High School: Caught 35 passes for 365 yards in leading Madison Central to the state playoffs...was named honorable mention Academic All-State...was also an All-District player in baseball, batting .390 his senior season.

Personal: Born August 12, 1978...the son of Marcus and Mary Williams...his brother, Navarra Green, played football at Clark-Atlanta...his cousin, Perry Carter, played at Southern Mississippi...majoring in business management.
