BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- Former Georgia volleyball player Kilee Goetz has been hired as the second assistant for the Samford volleyball program announced head coach Dex Schroeder Wednesday. The hire fills the last hole in the Samford staff for the 2008 campaign.

"Kilee brings many club and recruiting contacts that will instantly help the program as well as an enthusiasm that will compliment the chemistry already present on the staff and with our team," Schroeder said. "I am very excited to round out our staff. We have a young but very experienced staff that will be excellent to work with and recruits will be excited to play for."

Goetz comes to Samford after four months with Michigan Elite Volleyball in Warren, Michigan. She was the setter trainer and worked with the 17 National program.
